I’ve been skiing since I was 3 years old.  As president of Ski Noir, I’ll work to introduce more new skiers and snowboarders who look like me to the sport while connecting those who already have a love for the mountains. And as a person who enjoys a good ‘Turn Up’, I am no longer waiting for great events but rather cultivating mountain adventures for ALL.

Samuel Rhone

Vice President

Samuel has lived in Colorado the last 7 although he learned to Ski and board at the various southern California resorts. He a passion snowboarding that drew him to Colorado.  When he is working as Loan Consultant find riding one of the favorite Local mountains that Colorado to offer.  He is is excited about helping to make winter sports more accessible people of Color.

Kim Martin

Secretary of Ski Noir 5280.

My choice of ski fun is snowboarding. Although I’ve been boarding for some time, I’m not an expert but I keep it fun! My husband and I are Colorado natives and enjoy the outdoors. You can catch me on a snowboard, a motorcycle or a beach! If you see me out on the greens, just wave and I’ll catch you in the lodge for lunch! LOL! Hope to see you out on the slopes!

Melodie is a native of Denver and currently resides in Aurora CO. She has been an active participant with the NBS for over 25 years. . She started skiing when she was a teenager and is now an expert snowboarder. Not!
Hobbies include tennis, golf, glass fusing, and snowboarding. She loves to educate, inspire and empower children and young adults. Her quote is “May your actions be driven by the light of love that illuminates in your heart and may your results be evidenced by God and your Soul.”

Alecia D. Peabody

Social Chair of Ski Noir 5280

She develops and directs our social media and other communications for current and new member activities. Alecia assumed leadership with Ski Noir 5280 because she realizes, as native Coloradoan, the importance that our community having opportunities to participate in all activities available in our area and “Not just the Norm”,

I moved to Colorado over 35 ago and my first year I on the ski slopes. I love skiing in powder, under blue skies and a few bumps.  My husband, three adult children and granddaughter are all skiers.
Using my previous ski club experience, my goal is to represent the club members while meeting the goals of Ski Noir.
On a personal note, I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, fishing, biking, and gardening.
